I-25 to castle pine then follow the orange signs on the side of road . They are doing road work around the park. As far as I know that is the only way in. Santa fe is a nogo road is closed before you get to the park.

I'm new to crawling, but I'm tempted to try out a competition. My MRC is still bone stock, so I'm worried I'll get laughed off the rock for "pointing out" before I even get to the first gate. I think it would be fun and get some experience, but I don't want to get in the way of the folks who know what they're doing. By any chance are the courses left up for a while after the competition for test runs? |

HA HA HA.. he ^^^^^ thinks we know what we are doing.. thats funny. Seriously though. The MRC stock is very capable. mine is also stock. ill i did to mine was remove the springs from the outside of the shocks and install internal springs from the crawler store. thats it. We always welcome new faces! and we are more then willing to help anyone who needs it. Some of us show up early so we can help in course design and if you want, we can even teach you how to judge. The more involved you are the more fun it is. This is a great group of guys and we are all out to just have a great time! I will be rolling through Daniels park on my way home tonight to give a status report about 6pm on THIS thread. those rocks tend to dry off pretty well with some sun. So cross your fingers, that mother nature is kind today and tomorrow. |

Just got the update....if youre going south or north on I-25 get off at Castle Pines go west to Monarch go right to Daniels Pk rd take a left. That will dead end into Daniels park rd again and a dirt road. Youre at the entrance to the park. If youre coming from the west and doing the c470 route get off at Quebec go south to Daniels park rd take a right. Dead ends into the park. See all you Sallys in the morning! |

Hmm, your directions don't seem to match the map... Monarch doesn't seem to run into Daniels Park Road. There is a Daniels Gate Rd that leads to Daniels Park Rd via Grigs... Is there parking near the blue area you outlined on the map? |

Directions from I25, take Castle Pines West to Monarch Blvd., Right on Monarch to Daniel's Gate Rd., Left on Daniel's Gate Rd. to Grig's Rd., Right on Grig's Rd., North to N. Daniels Park Rd., turn left and come to the parking lot on map. Simple huh? JC | |

or, broadway south to Wildcat. Take Wildcat east to McAurther, Take a Right, then an Immediate Right on Grigs. once it turns to dirt hang to the right (follow the signs) to Daniels Park. it is quit muddy... some snow - it is the winter series after all.
