I'd be down... but can we set up a few different courses?

What time you thinking?

ya i believe the RCC series comp will be on the same day at either horsetooth or coal creek, last i have read thats what i know. that is the reason for the reschedule in the ht westy summer series. there is a few of us that are not going so that is the reason for the gtg this sat.

You might as well join the big group and hit the comp!

It won't be horsetooth, we don't have permission. Coal Creek canyon is between denver and boulder. It's a great spot with way too little parking.

1. It's not the RCC comp series, it's the Crawlerado Series;)
2. The way the series works is at the beginning of the season you pay $20 to have your series scores tracked, but you don't have to if you don't care about a series championship or going to Nationals. Then you pay $5.00 per event, per class. That money is paid 100% back to the competitors that day.
3. You can go to any events you would like, they are open to anyone weather you paid the series fee or not, or weather you missed the first 5 events or not.

I really think that going to the big events helps out the new guys alot. You may not win, or hell you may not even place in the middle of the pack, but competing with the best guys in the state once a month is the best thing you can do to help step up your game.

Also don't be intimanated at all, all of the guys are class acts and will help you out with any questions you may have. Be prepaired for a good day and a lot of ribbing, we all pick on each other and talk crap all day long, but it's all in good fun.

Boy, you better be goin!

Like Jason said you'll take your comping to another level!
Not to mention you get to hang out with a bunch of RC rump rangers!
Give me a ring and we can carpool to wherever it will end up.

I'm with you... but then again Red Rocks is out in the open and other crawlers might find out about the special secret comps. Coal Creek is in the middle of BFE and harder for us newbs to find!

The Winter Series moves around to different locations. A Winter Series Comp has already been done at Red Rocks. This Winter Series Comps are not top secret they are post at the above Sticky and in the Competition Section. The location is not always released to close to the time of the comp. do to trying to get permits, making sure the snow is melted, etc....

Here is the link:

Thanks for the link. I think I assumed that was the scaler winter series held by Finish Line so I never bothered to look.

Coal Creek is still closer than Westminister... I'll be there.
