Default Waterjet, CNC, Mill... etc, need to get a chassis precision cut.

So, where can I get a chassis precision cut for cheap? Anywhere in denver, but preferably on the west side of the metro area, like Lakewood or Golden.

I've got a guy in texas on another forum that can do it, but I have to wait for it to be shipped.

I'm cutting .125" Lexan or UHMWPE from a .dwg cad file. Anyone have access to a machine that can cut a 2D shape out for pretty cheap?

I can send the file over to get a better idea of what I am cutting. (Should be out of a 12" x 24" or so sheet.)

I can provide the material, but if you have it, that will make it a little easier for me.

look up "waterjet" in the phonebook or search online in the area you want. Most shops charge a minimum fee for anything ($75-$100)

I know a company here in the springs that does work quick but is a little more expensive than other shops. (I had 10 TVPs made for $150). If I had made 2 TVP's it would have been ~$80.

I can use google, the post was to try and find something or someone outside of google or the phonebook that can do it for cheap.I'd hate to pay a setup charge for two chassis. coloradowaterjet will do it, but 60 set up fee. I have the material, I just want to see if someone could cut it without charging a setup fee. Otherwise I'll just have they guy in texas do it.

i can read and write G-code but don't have access to a CNC machine.
I think Mr. Glassman has a CNC mill but not sure if he's using it as anything more than a manual mill. PM him and ask.

Good luck! $60 set-up fee is cheap. Unless it's someone that "owes" you a favor, I doubt you'll find a better deal.

Or someone that has a mill in their house maybe... Like the guy in texas that did the first one.
