I think I might come down there. Wonder how many people would watch if we setup a live cam...

I was trying to figure a way to broadcast my POV cam the other day, with the recorder is uses I don't think there's an easy way. Plus I'm not sure what Doyle would say if he had to hold a cell phone.

He'd have to hold a laptop and a wireless card, and a camera.

I've got a couple of ideas with my new camera setup. If you were to get a prime parking spot, and if we could rig a flagpole that I have to your camper, I could sit in the AC all day and film.

I could use the pan, tilt, and zoom to follow rigs on the course.

I could also have the laptop there and we could have your POV videos posted within minutes of your runs...

I'm planning on getting to tech early Fri so I can zip to the track and get a good spot. Sounds like a cool plan to me, probably put pirates live coverage to shame. You have an SD reader on your laptop?

Cool, my POV records on SD, my old laptop is just for tuning the buggy, no reader on it. Hit up ol lancey poo, I tried to watch some of their coverage from Ceder and it blew. They were trying that Ustream thing with the chat, chopy as shit.

Honestly I think either will be good, I don't forsee any of the guys "holding back" on Saturday. Might be a few less cars on Sunday, and they are saying the track will be different both days. I'd say just come to the one that fits your schedule better.

I had planned on coming down all weekend, but didn't realize it was fathers day. I may just cruise the caddy down on saturday.
