Default Magzines for the troops

Hi Everyone,

I am Carol, JGoodall's wife. I have a request for something for my nephew and his buddies who are stationed in South Korea right now. If you happen to have any recent 4-wheel drive, RC Car, Hot-rod, or anything automotive or RC related magazines that you are done with and would like to send to our troops overseas, please let us know. These magazines can be either given to Jeff at a comp, or mailed to him at his work. If you have something you can mail, please PM Jeff for the address to mail them to. These magazines will help these guys feel a little closer to home, and help pass some time until they can come home.

I appreciate anything you can donate.

Thank you so much!
Carol Goodal

I have a whole stack of RC Car Action and some others. I'll bring them to the next comp. Support Our Troops!

Cool deal for the troops Goodall's. My Dad owns a bookstore and might donate a few boxes of misc stuff i.e. Hot-Rod, Cycle stuff, porn .

It will have to be a few weeks because he's out of town. Would bringing this to the next comp at the end of the month work?

Thank you!!

I am sure all the guys (and girls) over there will appreciate this so much!
Rubbaneck- that would be awesome...but they can't have porn. Jeff said you could send that his way :-P:-P. But all of the other stuff would be great!

Luke, our nephew, has been there for two weeks now and I am sure getting magazines and stuff from the states will really make him and all of the people stationed there happy. Since North Korea isn't being very nice right now, this will be great to take some of their minds off all that is happening there. BTW- his camp is only about 12 miles from the DMZ .

Thank you again! You guys rock!

Is there a cut off date when they need to be in your hands? I've got a small pile of Petersons,Off Road and 4Wheeler mags. A few other random mags as well. Some are several years old. They are all boxed up in storage though. It might be a week or so before I can get over there to get them out. I'd much rather send them over there than see them collect dust.

No cut off date at all. We will just keep shipping them as we get them, and as we fill up the flat rate boxes. Thank you!!

Cato- thank you as well for offering to pick them up at Westy.

I was just thinking- if we get a whole s%#t-load of them (more than what Luke and his buddies will be able to read), I will see if I can get addresses to send some to Iraq & Afghanistan troops too. I really think they would appreciate them as well.

Thanks again everyone!

Thanks again !!

If anyone has a loved one that is stationed overseas, and would feel comfortable giving me their address, I would be more than happy to send some of these magazines their way too. We gotta take care of our folks that are taking care of us ;).

Jeff will be at the finals at Buffalo Creek if anyone has any magazines to bring. He will be happy to take them off of your hands. If you have porn, he will gladly take that for himself ,

Thanks again!! You all are awesome. Please think of our troops over the 4th of July weekend and display the American flag proudly.

Carol

Cato was kind enough to drop off the magazines you brought to the comp to Jeff at work today. Thank you!! And also- thank you Cato for being the courier service .

I know for a fact that Luke will love these magazines. He is in to 4X4 stuff, and has been thinking about trying to buy a used Jeep when he gets back to the States. He loves working on cars and trucks. These magazines will give him some good ideas on what he wants to build. I will get them in the mail to him this weekend. His "job" in the Army is a light-wheeled vehicle mechanic and also vehicle recovery. So I am sure he will have lots of buddies that he works with to share these with too!

Thanks again!!
