Its all good. I will probably be out there here in about a week. I'm kinda limited to my days off until they get more staff at my work.

it was nice to meet you guys out there! sucks that i had to drive all the way to hobby town to buy a new 1 way bearing. I made it back around 5:30 and started with the bashing! turned out that 6 others showed up (none from the site). 2 nitros and 4 electrics. We had fun racing around the track and im actually getting decent with the drifting around corners and lining up straight on the jumps. Around 7 oclock I got tired of the 'formal' racing and decided to do some real bashing! FULL throttle across the parking lot and hitting the berms. 90% of the time it was a massive flip, roll, flip, roll, crash, flip and roll, crash routine. I did end up landing a double back once though! Then, while hauling ass across the parking lot, my steering servo shut down and I hit a curb while wide open. Completely ripped the front end off the frame! its all good tho, repairing it now! I plan on going to the BMX track sunday afternoon tho if anyone wants to join me!

It was nice to meet you too. Sorry we weren't still there when you returned. Greg was out of batteries (and not of mine fit his truck) and I was out of trucks to run (broke an A-arm on the mini and lost a wheel nut on the slash). |

Yes it's always good to meet new RC adicts. We'll get together again here soon, keep an eye on the comps/ trailrides thread and we will see about heading out to Palmer Park.

I was thinking that I needed to get in to drifting to learn to control my SC10 on the track, but no I'm not really into anything on-road. Heck yea, bring out the slash! I wanted to do a little impromptu race when we get together. |

I usually bash at mhor. And as far as drifting goes, its all about pulsing the throttle and countersteer. My slash drifts like a real car, unlike my drifter haha

It's tough to get the hang of driving 2wd after a couple of years of racing 1/8th scale. I got spoiled with the point and shoot driving of AWD.

That's a good question for Egnix, he has a sweet little mrc. I decided to go with an ax10 because I wanted to build a 2.2 comp rig. I guess my best advice is to come out to Palmer to a gettogether and compare there. I don't think you will be disappointed with either.

Honestly, the axial RTC or a losi crawler will be your best bet. The mini's are fun but not as reliable and parts availability is a little worse. (in my opinion) Just letting everyone know, I'm going to be running my 6HP 51" RC offshore boat tonight (if the weather holds out) from 4:30 till 6pm at prospect lake (memorial park). If you're in the area swing by and say "Hi" | |

I think I found one. My sprint is stock right now, I have been putting all of my money into a new motor for my Savage. Im going to put that new axial bigblock, the .32RR into it whe it comes out next month |

| I bought my mrc to play with in the house, but once I was outside crawling on real rocks I lost interest in crawling in the house. Wishing I had a 1/10th scale rig now...
