Alrighty folks here is some interesting info about our o9-1o Winter Series.....

1. We will be charging for the events, and for the series. Have no fear though 100% of the money will be returned to the competitors.

2. Everyone will be allowed to drop 1 event from the series.

3. Only people that have paid the series entry fees will receive series points and be eligible for an invite to the Nationals. However when tallying the series scores you'll receive the points for the actual position you finish. First place will receive 250 points, second 245, third 240 and so on all the way to 50th place which will receive 5 points. The best score on each course will also get 1 bonus series point.

4. We will also be keeping track of series scores from all classes and adding them up to determine who is the overall best crawler in the state.

5. We will be trying a new format, we will have 3 1.9 and super courses set up at the same time, start gates will be in the same area. We will run 1.9 and super at the same time, to save time. You will line up either your super and/or 1.9 in the same area.

6. Free crawl format, you need to get in line, get your courses done and keep things moving. We are the most efficient club I have seen so we all know what to do, and lets do it!! And if you see someone that needs help, please help them.

Costs
Series fee is $20 total, if you run one class or all three.
-This money will pay for the series trophies, comp supplies, and any remaining cash will go to the top 3 series finishers.
-If you don't pay for your series entry by the start of the second event, you will not be able to enter the series.

-Event fees are $5.00 per class, per event.
Payout will be:
1st place=50%
2nd place=30%
3rd place=20%
-So if we had a full field of 50 2.2's there would be $250 in the pot. First place would take home $125, second place would take home $75, third place would take home $50.
-The pot for supers, 1.9 and 2.2's will remain separate and only be paid to their respective classes.
-On the day of the event if you do not have the cash in hand to pay your entry you will not compete, no exceptions.
-Events will be paid out at the event site, as soon as the scores are tallied.

-Registration for all classes will be done at the same time.
-In order to get all the people through the courses we will not be breaking for lunch, plan on packing a lunch and eating between courses.
-If an event is canceled due to weather a makeup date will be posted in the thread at the time of the cancellation. That date will be a new one, not currently on the schedule.

Lets have fun with this one!!

Get the Crawl on!!

Any questions?

1st comp-October 4th Horsetooth

-November 15th cancelled due to weather

-December 6th cancelled again....

2nd-January 17th Red Rocks

3rd-February 21st~~~makeup 3/7

4th-March 21st LUTZ

5th-April 11th Coal Creek

6th-May 16th Skippys!

7th-June 13th

Stay tuned for more fun!

Nice, I'm in. Thanks for setting the dates way ahead. Will make planning a lot easier. I noticed some of these dates are on a Monday? Should make getting in the top 5 easier

Patrick: I might be wrong But looks like the dates for Jan-June you used a 2009 calender instead of 2010, cause on my 2010 calender those dates are all Mondays:?

I could give you some help. Depends on what you'll need, logistics, me being up north and all. But glad to pitch in where I can.
