Technically how?? I'm not sure what your talking about?
If I made a mistake I can correct it but not sure where the mistake would have been made.

What courses did the 2.2s scores correspond to?

is it:

Score 1 = Gated Course
Score 2 = Time Trial
Score 3 = Hill Climb

or was it the order we ran the 2.2s?

Thanks to jgoodall, rogue, brad, and anyone else that made this what it is. I'm excited for the next series!

Yes just like you have listed. I always do it like that, unless we don't really have a hill climb do to terrian. Then the 3rd score would be the last event we ran. Score one and two are always gated first and Time Trial second.

Well technically to give you a hard time and on the other hand, because our scores where the same, but I had a better score on the third course.

In the standard comp series the person who does better on the last courses gets a higher spot. no ties.

Thats why Im wondering if it gets scored the same in the end.

Im don't really care either day, it was a fun day and thats what I went to do.

But for future reference it would be helpful.

Unless its totally different.

I figured as much.:-P I never really set up anything for that. The only time I did a tie breaker for anything was for the 2nd event when there were only three of us there. The only reason I did that so Jeff, Rodney or I could have bragging rights. I broke the tie based on scale points, but in the end never played a part in the overall scores. I never put into place a way to break ties, but that will be addressed in the updated set of rules for the next series. I like the idea of breaking ties with scale points, since it is a scale series. If scale points were the same then maybe fall back on to the third course.

I plan on starting a new thread here in a week or so about what changes I would like to see, but I would also like everyone's imput as to what they want in scale rules also.

HA.......Ty trying to steal my thunder! First top five finish ever. Ty's rig would have been the winner with more scale points.

Hey Todd, I'd like to offer my help with anything for the next series. That was the best time I've ever had crawling. Maybe could do one up this way next time too.

Thanks Rodney.
Like we were talking at the end, without everyone showing up the series wouldn't be what it is.
Thank you for making every event!

Yea, and I never got a chance to tech yours in. I'm glad that you made it out and had a good time.
I will take all the help I can get thanks for the offer, and to all that have also offered to help.

If you have some locations that you know of, I sure we can make a trip up there. I would like this next series to go to a few different spots, so if anyone has good locations for an event, let me know, and I'll see what we can do to work them in. Honestly for me that is the hardest part of putting the whole thing togeather. Getting permission, trying to have it in good locations and locations that are not to far for most of us to travel to.

Oh I thought of a new question!!!

Where do the scale points get tallied?

Into one of the course scores?
I think it would be better if it was laid out separate, that way we can see what kind of numbers people are pulling.

The scale points get deducted from the gated course. Next season I will have a better layout for scores. I'm thinking that I'll do sort of like I did it this season, but will show how everyone got there points. I will have to make three different score sheets but it's really not much more work then it is now.

All I really did was give 100 points to the highest place rig, then -5 points for each following. This upcoming season, I'm thinking I will have one that showes the scores from each course and includes the scale deduction points, one that showes the points for each day and one that will keep track of the series totals.
