Default Sept 12th Comp # 4 for RCH @ Palmer in the Springs

Ok guys here is the info I stole from the crawlerado atlas for the next Comp on Saturday Sept. 12th at Palmer Park, starts at 10am Yes, it was going to be @ coal creek, but after talking it over with some people who have crawled both; Palmer is what was voted for .

Palmer Park
I-25 south to Academy BLVD. Drive south on Academy to Maizland and hang a right. Take the first right into the park and then the first dirt road on the left.

The park is loaded with places to play but this is the best by far. No fees and plenty of parking

I've never been to an RCH comp. Do you guys charge an entry fee?
Will you be running all three classes? (I currently don't have a 2.2)

Thanks for coming down here to have a comp, the RC crawler scene is growing steadily in CS.

Joe,

We only run 2.2 in this comp. Its $5 entry fee but all entry fees are returned in the form of Gift Cards through a random drawing. I think I am gonna bring my scaler and mess around after the comp. I have never been to palmer but I heard it is one of the best locations for good crawling and I am very excited to check it out. I would guess that Almighty Malachi will probably bring his scaler also.

Yup I'll have the blazer with me. The nice part about just running 2.2 is that it doesn't take too long to run the comp, allowing for real life time or goofing off afterwards

If we get enough scalers up there we should have a trail run afterwards for an hour or two for those who are interested.

I have told you before, you are not welcome down here. Pros are not invited If you want to run 3 wheel drive and no dig, come on down

Hey Neil, Not sure if my 2.2 will be back together by then. If I am not competing, I can help you set up some "friendly" courses

since mine is nowhere near a comp crawler, does that mean I can go on the trail ride with the scalers?

Damn Cato, it has been a while since we have had "quality" time together too?! Thought you wanted to see me? lol

Hell, I think I am even going to play for a bit. Haven't touched a crawler since Rojas. Gues I should use the 2.2 one more time before she hits the for sale.
