| Palmer Park Comp 11/29
Just an Ideal, was thinking about having a Comp at Palmer Park. Seems as though lots of people love Palmer so why not have some more Comps there. I think Wolfman and I can organize a Comp in 2 weeks. I got some local buisness owners that will put up the cash to get the permit. That away we can take all the money and give it back as a prize. I personally would like to have a Comp where 2nd place is the 1st LOSER. Doing it that away we could have a giant pay out for 1st place spots. 20 people at 10.00 each = 200.00 1st place prize. Maybe give out some tires and maybe a body for 2nd. So, how many people would show up, I'm looking for thumbs up. I'll go get the permit in the next couple days if it looks like we can get some people here. Also, we could do 10.00 entrys or 5.00 entrys, just figure w/ 10.00 it makes it all that much more worth it. I am totally open to opinions, so send em to me. I figure for this 1st comp we will just run 1.9 and 2.2, no supers, no sportsman. If I get enough of feedback on Sportsman i will consider it. Somebody could make some extra cash for the holidays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last edited by lwb Sami; 11-19-2009 at 01:51 PM. |

I dont believe you need to get a permit to have a comp there, you just have to ok it with the parks department. Let them know exactly where you are going to be, number of people and times and you should be good. I think they can be a little slow too, so let them know two weeks out or so. |

Alright, just got done talking to the city folks. They said as long as there are no tents, structures, set up and as long as we don't use the pavilion there is no permit needed. Sweet, w/ that being said we will be at the Lazyland area. If someone could post directions it would be greatly appreciated. I will post any cancelations Saturday the 28th. Thanks to the Denver folks showing interest, I would love nothing more then to draw a large crowd. I know there are some folks down south too, please come and bring your friends. There are some other good areas down here, maybe next year we could have a Springs Series. Thanks again to all.
