Default building a berg......need ideas.....

so im building up a berg and need to know what the reg for motors is?
im running a 45 in my shafty and would like it to be at least as quick as that....any ideas?......1350 40/20 7.4 lipo single esc.........i realize it will be tune to taste but i need a starting point.....

35t's with 12 tooth pinions on a 3 cell is a good set up. Good low end with a decent amount of wheel speed. I used to run that. I'm now running 35t's withy 13t pinions....like it better. 45t's in a Berg would work,but I think you'd need around a 14 or 15t pinion to get any wheel speed.

It is personal preference. A guy could get another 45t and order 4 or 5 different pinion sizes and adjust it to your taste. Pinions are cheaper than motors

I run Holmes Hobbies handwound 30Ts on 3cell lipos. Some may say I have too much wheel speed but I like it and it suits my style
