Default I want to be a rules committee rep

I want to be a USRCCA rules committee rep because I feel that the direction the rules are taking is a route that will lead to more problems as the hobby grows.

Rules should be easy to understand, straight forward, and have a DIRECT purpose. It is my feeling that many of the rules do not fit these requirements and will continue to need to be ammended in the coming years.

My rules and judging backround:
I refereed soccer in high school as well as played.
I participated in Mini Baja for 5 years in which we had to interpret the rules book to build our car to compete.
I am always looking at rules in a different way. Most of the time it's not to exploit the rules but to point out that with different wording, the rules could be more fair.

Let me make this very clear, I do not want to take the spot of any current Colorado reps because I feel they have been doing a great job.
So what does it take to get on the rules committee?

The Colorado club as a whole can vote once a year on who they want their rep to be.

Did you bring this thread back? I thought I deleted it (HGTD )

I talked with Fishmaxx and decided that it would be couterproductive for me to "run" against Grizzly4x4, since I'm positive that he has the right perspective on rules and is representing Colorado as well or better than I could.
