Default Went out and played in the snow today.

I went with my friends to do some scale crawlin today. This is first time we have been out in a while. Sure had a good time. I thought I would post up a couple of pictures of todays outing. But now all I need is to get that same little video recorder that Skidplate used. I hope you like the pictures.

This is what it looks like after the snow if you don't have wheel wells. I am going to be working on them soon

Looks good buddy, the snow can be pretty entertaining. about time you make some chains and get started on the tube work.

Snow chains, That is what I need to make next. Thanks Ty .

The snow was a blast with my Cobalt 7t, 20t pinion, and 3s. But more speed would of been even more fun .

I am getting a start on the rest of the tube work this comming week. I plan on keeping the rock sliders very simple, just a single tube tucked into the body and making the rear almost like the front.

Unless someone has a better idea for the rock sliders?

after seeing all the scratches in my paint with it sitting on your hood, I think I'm going to repaint it. You were right, our camera's do take good pic's.

Sweet, looks like fun. I need to waterproof my scale rig so I can play in the snow and the water.

Go to Lowes, get 16 or 18 guage JACK CHAIN, prob only have 16(but 18g is a little more scale). Very easy to work with, cheap (.49c ft) you'll need around 16-18 ft. Make a jig to lay it out and build it. Let me know if need help. Bunch of us here have them, they work!!!!

My electronics box is a poject box for Radio shack . If you click on the "SCX-10 Mega Cab" in my signature, it will take you to my build. I have some picturs in there, but I am not sure about the box. I will send you a pict tomarrow that shows it better.

First of I want to thank TURTLE and CATO.

Ty, the chains make the snow waaaaaay more fun.

Caton, thanks for the help on the size

We went out again yesterday when I got off of work, to check out this months scale event sight. I havn't been there in a few months, so we thought we would go see how much snow was in the way. It looks like I will need to go out and just help it out a little in a few places, but a am planning on using most of the snow .

I didn't get very many pictures, my phone was starting to run low on batteries. So I realy only got pictures of area with no snow. I was bumbed that I didn't get any good roost pictures with my new chains .
