Grand Junction area Summer Schedule

Everyone plan on having a meeting of sorts in Moab regarding what we need to do in order to set up correctly for next year to actually qualify drivers for a crawl off for the chance at Nationals. James and I were kinda bummed to find out that we cannot send anyone this year due to our format not complying with the rules. We need to either complete a series or have 4 comps between Jan.1 and June 1 to send the top five for the crawl off. Some lines of thought were to have a comp in Feb. or double up a month or two in the spring. Any other thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

As soon as I hear from Steve, I'll get the details posted for Moab. Currently plan on meeting at the Moab 4x4 Outpst in Moab on Sunday June 6th in the morning.

Still awaiting a comp area as to give directions for. Steve has asked for everyone coming to meet at M40 in Moab at 8am on Sunday.

Need to pass it on!!! Moab is off this weekend due to lack of accessibility to the desired areas. We will be running at the HWY 141#2 site on Sunday June 6 at 9:00am. This is for the comp crawlers, the scalers have been set for the 20th. PM me or call Steve with any questions.

Steve has set the new date for Moab to be October 3, 2010. This definitely should be more enjoyable temperature wise.

I had to hurry and cancel reservations too. Steve has been trying to get into contact with the owners of BFE and Potato Salad Hill with no success. Also trying to deal w/ the Moab area BLM in this short of time would not have been pretty, remember these people are the reason for off-road parks and highly limited trail usage.

But,,,,,,,, Steve said at the meeting at the start of the year at M4O he put everything together before the year started. And he did all this work to make the year fun, so fare all I've hurd from alot of people is that this sucks. People know that James, me and Tousley put on 4 comps for fun over the winter (free) took score and posted it on RCC, I keep getting asked why we can't do that for the crawlers to. So I keep having to stand up for something I'm loosing fath in. If were paying for this then I think someone needs to get his sh*t together batter then this last min stuff.
70duncan, MystRacing, gdhknives have done more for this club then the people that where put in charge of it at the start. And I would like to thank you guys for the work your putting into it, funny you guys aren't collecting money at the comps. But your making sure everyone is up to speed. I just get mad about it sometimes, sorry. Thanks guys,
