| Clueless to Li-po... Help?
I am in the process of finishing my scaler, I looking for a way to get a long battery life at a reasonable price. Should I go lipo? If so what would be a good speed control, batteries, and charger to get? I plan to get into some water and mud so I want something durable. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

IMO lipo is the only way to go. I would get a thunderpower pack, they're nice and small so you can hide them easily. For ESC, it really doesnt matter you can get one with an integrated lipo cut off. Or you can just solder an external cut off. As for a charger, i am a HUGE fan of the E flite triton junior. But alot of people have had great reviews on the racers edge chargers. And as for water proofng as long as the leads on your lipo are covered you should be fine. But a cheap water baloon does wonders haha
