Only one Lovell(Roger) this year--Brad will be in Crandon, WI as he starts his short course racing career in the Traxxas Series!

I wanted to step back this year and see what they come up with/change. I really enjoyed the actual ROCK racing like when I started, Ceder City, BFE, the course in Cortez that was pretty much all rock and I enjoyed that. I realize places to race are hard to come by but the same places/tracks get old after awhile. I'm diggin the longer races and seem to do good at them so that's kinda where I'm focusing, plus driving a rock crawler at 80+mph is just plain fun.

Ya I know Roger is the only one there this round, Brad is already up there and doing press stuff. Just didn't know how many others were aware of that so I just said the Lovells......

I might end up as Rogers pit crew because I'm the only one available because the rest of the crew is out with Brad.

Cool--that's great that Roger stayed here to race.
I walked the course today with a friend that is running his first race. They're using the "back" course, but it's twice as long as last year, and the start looks alot faster than last year.

What is the cost of entry for both days?

*edit* looks like it's $15 for 1 day or $20 for both days.

And most of the competitors with them. I went down today to hang out with some friends. The coarse looked fun, long, the no center banner was cool and the three laps was good But there still was no rocks. The best part was the field went from 40 competitors last year to 15 this year.

Yeah, that probably explains the name change to XORRA--Xtreme Off Road Racing Assoc.

Damn that is crazy, you'd think they'd want to grow, not die...

I told them they needed to change it to XDRA, xtreme dirt racing association. They pretty much did I guess.

I figured they already had tough truck, why turn rock racing into it?

You guys are correct. This was my first time going and I thought there would be more rocks. I guess last year tons of people camped, there was a huge bond fire, and a much bigger and better track, more carnage and flips, and better racing. It was still fun though. Here are pictures from day 2
