Is the kit thats like $299 worth buying or did you buy a roller and build it up?

buy a roller and build it up.....the esc has no drag brake...and the servo is kinda weak....so if you bought the rtr...your gonna end up spending more money on an esc...motor....servo...aluminum links....and you dont get to do your own paint either.....so for someone already into crawling.....ide say the kit

x2 and you get metal links and all hex hardware....just no lights, but more buckets for light options. the rtr is cool cause you can open the box and drive but i'm glad i bought the kit.

We usually use a brushed motor for a reg setup.....they do better in water.......35 to 55 turn is the norm........I was running a sensorless out runner for a minute but the brushed motors are much smoother.......pick your brand of choice for your motor.....I run an intejunk......cheap to replace and I've had no issuezs with any of mine
