The wife and I just PCS'd to FE Warren AFB and bought a house in Wellington, CO. I've got a wraith with a smoked motor and need to get a new one so I can get back on the trails! I've noticed there are a few locals to the FOCO area. I read some threads and went to Horsetooth Res. while we were house shopping and decided to burn up the motor, but I had a blast doing it! Coming from Nebraska there is so many places to crawl it's ridiculous. Maybe we can have a small GTG or meet up once I get my wraith rolling again.

Welcome to the front range and welcome to Colorado. I live in metro Denver, but we usually have at least a comp on two up at horsetooth and run scalers and such. Keep alive on RCC and I'm sure someone up there will want to go run with you when you get going again. Good people up there. If you get the time, come on down to Denver when we are having a comp and get to know some people. Fun crowd here and also the Colorado Springs group. JC |

Sounds like I need to get my Wraith rolling soon then. I'm gonna try and sneak in some "decorative rocks" and make a mini course in my back yard.

I cruise up to horsetooth every now and than to burn a few packs, helps it's only 5 minutes from the house. Lots of good spots up there to crawl. Were all a bunch of shit talkers around here but most are worth hangin out with.

I live near horsetooth and with the water being the lowest its been in 50 years makes some badass trails! I blew my tranny up but once I get it fixed I am always down to crawl!

I'm heading up now to burn a few packs on the new car before I have to go back to the shop.
