NoCo Trail Run - July 4 @ 1000 hours

I'm open for suggestions, but I was thinking of either going to Devils Back Bone (Mini Moab), or up to Sheep Mountain. Anyone game???

I'll bring the GoPro and some peanuts. Show up ready to break sh*#$@!!!

Both locations I mentioned are off of HWY 34. One, on the west side of Loveland, and the other in the canyon headed up to Estes Park.

I'll be in the parking lot at 1000. I'll have my Green Suburban, and I'll be tinkering with Fiona.

It's pretty simple. Drive west on HWY 34 through Loveland. As you get toward the West Side of Loveland, HWY 34 will go down to one lane. It won't be long before you are driving up a hill. At the top of the hill, turn north. The parking lot is on the right. It's a bit of a walk back to 'mini-moab', but it's WELL worth it. There is some seriously good rock back there to play on. Call me if you get lost. 970.free96.4seben22

I took some video. I just haven't had time to process it. I had some MAJOR front axle issues out there. Another shattered bearing on the locker, cup on a VP VVD broke, replaced that with an Axial CVD. Which I stripped the end of the tang off of... Long, frustrating run. But it was still a good time. Ryan was a really cool kid. Y'all will have to meet him.

For sure. I just have to get moved and get Fiona up and running again. The front axle gears are toast... I set it up to run in rear wheel drive at the lake that night. I had just finished putting it back together when one of the kiddos there grabbed my remote and mashed the gas. Fiona ran into me and couldn't go any further. Darn kid shredded about seven of the gears off of my pinion gear. Running in the sand on Lake Loveland's beach would have been pretty fun. Not to mention how the kiddo's would have loved to chase her up and down the beach. Oh well... Some peoples kids... 8)
