Scale Adventure Rig Requirements.
-A scale vehicle must be 1/10 car / truck with a scale chassis or custom tube scale chassis.

- Tires may be 1.55, 1.9, or 2.2, but must be a licensed manufactured tire or knock offs.
Tires must resemble the real thing and can be siped or grooved.

-A tow strap is mandatory.

-Minimum 10 scale points.

-A winch is not mandatory, but highly recommended.

-A spare tire is not mandatory, but highly recommended.

-Other items may be required for specific Scale Adventure and will be announced before each event.

-All scale recovery items/tools, must be attached to the vehicle and be placed back on the rig after use. This includes sand ramps, tow straps, and hi-lift jacks. Real tools may be carried by the driver.

-All classes are allowed to use dig and 4 wheel steering on their scalers if they choose.

Scale Adventure rules.
Rule #1. HAVE FUN! We are dedicated to fun and healthy competition with a family freindly setting and respecting the land and everyone in the RC scaler/crawler community.

Rule #2. NO HAND OF GOD. (HOG) a driver may not assist, stop, catch, or kick his/her rig. There are no penalties for reverses, winching or using your tow strap so DRIVE SMART! Performing on course repairs or having to touch your vehicle for recovery purposes is not hogging. Picking your truck up out of water, mud, sand or rolling it over onto its wheels with your hand is all examples of hogging your vehicle and resulting in a disqualification penalty. Log the HOG in your drivers log & report it to Base Camp.

Rule #3. A driver can not drive through a gate & reverse back through it to avoid trail obstacles. This will result in a DQ. A course is directional & must be progressed in the intended direction of travel. Reversing through a gate in the
intended direction is ok & allowed during mandatory reverse skill sections.

Rule #4. Skill sections may be present on course & will be marked with different colored gates/flags at the entrance and exit. There may or may not be a course gates within a skill section. Skill sections may be bypassed but will incur time penalty against your score.

From my limited experience, having a buddy is fun, but by no means necessary. Everyone is awesome and people help each other out regardless of 'teaming up"... just my $0.02

Everybody helps each other as drivers break into impromptu groups throughout the course, you can go alone or team up either way its a good time

I have a question. when it says "Minimum 15 scale points" is one scale point per scale accessories? I would like to come out and run but this is my only concern if i even be eligible to run. I have a bone stock scx10.

Most scale parts on an SCX10 count for one scale point, plastic bumpers, sliders, etc. some are worth more like headlights and tail lights are 2 points.

Don't let that stop you from coming out to have fun, we have some extra scale accessories we can bring and get you fixed up
