So spots where you need a winch, as said, if you don't have one, what are your options?

You can hand assist with a tow rope if no one is around to help you. These adventures are highly dependent on cooperation from fellow crawlers to complete the adventure. With all the bonus runs and items to find, you don't have to be the first to finish to win. Just have fun and keep your eyes open for items to pick up. They might be worth something.

I have a highly modified wrexo that I would love to come run its the only thing I have close to a scaler. What qualifies the 5 points I need to enter? Is 4s and front dig legal and what do I need for a tow strap?

This is a run what you brung event. You would be running in the 2.2 class. 5 scale points is pretty easy to achieve on a rig, a small trash-a-roo /spare tire/driver There is no hand of god allowed unless you are working on your rig. Thus the tow strap. A shoe string with hooks on either end will work for helping your fellow crawlers or flipping yourself over when you go turtle up ( we will have a couple super secret snatch blocks for sale at the comp super cheap.). This sort of adventure comp is based on cooperation from your fellow crawlers to finish and is based on having fun not counting points as you blow through gates.

Very cool I honestly could care less about winning as much as I would rather meet all my local fellow crawlers in one spot and see what this competition stuff is all about.

It is loosely based on a G6 event, a very long course with every kind of challenge short of water to crawl. Pack a spare battery, water, tools and spare screws. Adventure will be around a mile long with bonus courses off the sides.there will be items to collect so think about how you will be attaching them to your rig.

Oh I'm bringing a few gallons of water for a muddy gate or two...I don't want to see clean pretty rigs finishing.

Bridges are almost done. ...

Sandstone mixed with sandy soils. Soft tire with stiff sidewalls work best. I run 1.9 super swampers stretched over 2.2 rims with 2 stage proline stadium foams.start experimenting with different combos and see what fits your rig best. They work awesome for me. I'm sure you will get a ton of advice on tires to use.
