2015-2016 comp series
 

Will there be a 2015-2016 comp series this winter? I'm thinking about getting a comp rig built up over the summer. This 1:1 bus I'm on is going down a really steep mountain....I need to find a different hobby after I finish my comanche cage and before I start building/swapping in a dana 60.

I'd be down. Even if it wasn't a formal thing, but we all threw in like five or 10 bucks to drive winner take all.

So, I need to make sure it's in the budget. But I think I should have a new comp crawler late summer....berg based, no more losi :sad: (But now I don't have to be handicapped by carnage).

It's really tempting to start ordering parts now and blow through my savings. :ror:

It'd be slick if we got the comp series going again. But I'd be down with a gtg type things if there's not enough interest for a comp season.

I've determined I won't have the money to build a new comp rig if I finish my cage on my jeep....I don't have a garage for my jeep to sit in for the next year...So i kinda have to finish it. (I cut the roof off :shock:)

But I could definitely get my losi running for some sporty courses

I wasn't planning on setting anything up....I won't have any spare time on my hands during the school year to manage a comp series.

I'll be going with fully loaded dlux axles....I have totes full of crawler parts, losi, axial, bully's, and clod parts. I could easily build up a comp class crawler, I just really want a brand new, latest and greatest build.

And my jeep doesn't really need any parts...I just need a bender with a couple dies and get another bottle for my welder...Originally I was using a buddies bender and bottle and thought I'd have access to it throughout the summer. But he moved away and now I gotta get my own.

Here's how it sits now (except it's now outside underneath a tarp because I moved into a basement apartment....

I'm in. My only stipulation is that we can drive scalers around when we are waiting in line to drive the "comp" cars "thumbsup"

I'll start a "Towing" Trail series for you, where you tow in your comp rig as part of the Trail challenge :mrgreen: Scoring based on the size of the smiles!

I'm in also. I have lots of gates, timers and score sheets. More than willing to help out if needed. And driving scalers around while waiting sounds like a great way to pass the time. Maybe even set up a couple of scaler courses if everyone wants.
