Thumbs down RCC loading very slow

I have been using I.E. for years and never had this problem until about a week ago. Has anyone had this problem? If so, What did you do to resolve it?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Seems lightning fast to me. I'm using IE.

Seemed a touch slower the other night but the board was VERY busy. Still wasn't an issue though.

I'm using Opera and I notice it being a tad slower...I figured it was traffic or traffic on my side of the connection since I'm on a cable line, no guarantees on speed or quality DNS.

The admins recently took an IQ survey/poll.

Seems the overall IQ of memebers is down significantly so they slowed the server down so we could all understand and pay attention.

Hate the game not the bacon!

Mine is back up to super RCC speeds...my IQ test must have been re-graded!

I bet while the server was re-indexing the search it took some small processing time away, which could explain a small slow down like I had seen.

I made some changes to the search engine last night (hence the ~30 minutes downtime) which should have reduced the load on the server making the site faster. It also gave us more search features which I am going to post about shortly.

Do that every couple weeks, did it again and no difference.
