Wasting your breath. They don't care about supporting any site that support their habits.

Maybe if people knew where their money was going and what is was being used for they would buy a star. All I ever see is "support RCC", never heard what the money is used for.

The money is used for the site... does it need to be broken down for you that much?

Server Space (continually growing)
Bandwith
Maitnance
etc.

It gets expensive fast and with a site that is growing as fast as RCC, all the tiny donations that people make really help offset the costs.

I thought it would have been used for beer and gas money?

:-P

knowing what it takes to run a site i felt guilty not having having one, but then again you never know someone elses financial situations.

The beer would only be used to keep the maintenance techs working.

Man those kinda remarks always just piss me off, WTF cares what it's used for. RCC is a cool site with a lot of good tech, and some good folks hanging out as well. Ain't nothing free in this world, wheeling, rc crawlin, beer drinking, going out to dinner, etc.. you're gonna pay one way or the other, so why whine about a small donation to a nice website? Of course you could always just get your own server, buy vbulletin, start your own rc forum and not bother to come round here...wonder how long it'd be before you had a paid subscriptions option on your site, hmmm?

Did'nt they use some of the money for the new brass pole at RCC HQ?

I hear Kris can really work the pole

It don't matter how they spend the money, you are using their site:roll: Do it for respect"thumbsup"

Congrats to James22"thumbsup"

Yup, everything costs money! I was just curious so I asked. I got an answer so now I know. If it was manditory to pay to gain access to the site I would. It is a good site to gain some knowledge and check peoples trucks out.
