|  Giveaway Clutter
Anyone else dislike the clutter that all the giveaways cause at the top of some of the forums? Sometimes it gets kinda ridiculous. Maybe there could be a forum strictly for giveaways.

It's been hashed over before. Boy,you couldn't have picked a better time to grab that screen shot  I have yet to see that many on one page.....Course,if the give aways have anything to do with what I have or need,I'll enter. If not,I don't even bother.Personally,I feel vendors should have the right to place their give aways where they see fit. Give aways are a form of advertisement as some vendors use them for the release of new products or sales. If it's a part for the Axial,it should go in the Axial section. Kindly like target rich advertising.  |

It does get pretty bad sometime, but its no biggy to just scroll down. I dont even pay attention to them half the time. (Not yet anyway, no star). I agree though a contest/giveaway/raffle section would be more fitting and user friendly.

The point of the giveaways is to get the attention of the target audience and promote the vendor's products. Both of those points would be muffled if these threads were placed in a seperate forum. If the intended audience doesnt see the product, then what would be the purpose of the vendor to give away free product? I like the setup of the giveaways and dont think they should change. |

I think the giveaways should stay in their respective forums... If it is an Axial giveaway, then it stays in Axial. Clod in Clod etc. When everything gets dumped in General Crawlers like the screencap above, I don't even go into that forum anymore. If the product is for something not specifically for an Axial, then put it in General, but if it say Scale related, we have a scale section... Are my ramblings making any sense?

The clutter does NOT bug me at all I just scroll past it. But,What about a Sub-Forum in the each section for giveaways?
