Default RCC Site and Computer Virus Warnings

Just want to inform Jason and Badger of a computer issue I started having today.

It may just be my computer, but I've been on here since 2004 and have never had my Virus Program give me a "WARNING" when opening this site. It keeps giving me pop up warnings that this is a Phishing Site and Hacker Site Warnings.

I have not changed any settings and all worked fine yesterday. I have made RCC an approved site, but again, this has never occurred in four years.

Every time I open a new page on the site, I get the warnings.

I'll keep checking my computer, but just wanted to pass it along.

Later.

dont quote me on this but i doubt its anything to do with RCC or caught from RCC. i would check your computer for other things and possibly other sites yourself or someone else could have gone to, also any recent emails opened with attachments.

I run several forums using the same software as RCC and have never had any problems with attacks or users having problems.

just a thought, it is the internet and anything is possible.

I would have to agree if your getting pop up warnings you probably have something going on that you picked up somewhere like EeePee suggests a couple of body posts should fix it. When was the last time you freshened your virus software?

That did it. Thanks for the assistance EP. I think I'm going to paint the two extra post on my rig yellow, so they'll stick out more. See ya at Nat's.

Um, it just did it to me too!?
Very strange, and has never done it before now.
My Anti-virus took care of it for now.
I'm pretty green when it comes to computers, so it could be a fluke.
But then again, might need to be looked into.

Do you have a virus name that your software "took care of"?
