I've noticed for the past few months that For Sale adds here on rcc seem to pop up for me hours after they are posted.When they do show up its in a group of 5 or more all at once & show up with several views & some itmes already sold.For example right now it is 4:00pm & the most recent For Sale post is at 9:30 am this morning.

It has always been that way.They have to be approved by a mod first.The mods do have regular jobs so it's not like they can get to it immediately.

1 person works to approve the ads, the system just works much better like that. Like we have said before you ad, if correct, will be approved in anywhere from 2 minutes to 2 days.

I understand this completely.I know that just about everyone here has a job other than reading & posting on RCC. I appreciate everything the mods & creators of RCC do for all of us.I was just wondering why is seemed that the ads show up all of a sudden and already have 30-40 views & items already sold or pending sale when the ad wasn't even up a minute ago. I'm not complaining as I have personally purchased several items here & gained priceless information here on RCC. The only ones that are not happy about that are my girlfriend & Manager,since I'm always home late or busy searching forums instead of doing a brake job

Some items are really hot sellers. I've seen threads with 30+ members reading all at once....you gotta be quick.

ok, why cant the "established" moderator set a time on which he or she puts the adds forward so everybody gets a chance? say 10 items at 7pm (est) and 10 more at 7:30 or 8:00. I also have to work and I dont think its fair to be the one of the last to see the adds. I cant stay on the computer all day and I really dont expect the moderators to either. come on fair is fair. Set up some rules to follow its an easy fix!! I have been trying to buy a set of mayhems for 2 months !!

I think Mayhem is having a sale 'till the 29th of this month

I do, most weekdays, the adds are approved before 6:AM mountain time.
Then approximately 6:PM more get looked at. I don't see the big deal, you guys are making this more work then it needs to be.

Fair is fair, first come first serve.

Should we suggest listing times for ebay?

Should I adjust my life to better suit your needs?

I try and approve the ads when I can thur out the day and when I get home.
