Default RCC database had to be restored from last nights backup

I had to restore RCC's database to last night's backup so we lost all posts from about 1:30 am PST to 1:30 am PST today.

I am setting up a test site with the data from today if you created a huge new thread and need to copy and paste the contents to recreate the thread here. You can also access important PM's that you might have got on the test site.

BUT you should only use the test site to copy and paste important PM's threads that you cannot easily live without.

The test site is http://www.rccrawler.com/forum_old/index.php. You should be able to log in there and access the information you lost.

Sorry for this inconvenience.

It was not VB. It was 100% my mistake. I was doing work in the dev site and I logged into the production database by mistake and made changes that could have caused serious corruption down the road. I fixed it but I made the decision to make sure the database is 100% clean so I restored the database from last nights backup to prevent as little data loss as possible.

I believe this was the first data loss in 4 years for RCC.

Does this mean you're un-unsubscribed to Nluv's Wreckluse thread?

I wrote a new thread in the For Sale section earlier today before the database was restored....I see that the thread was posted on the "test site" at 3:22pm but it is not there in the For Sale section now.

Should I re-submit this new for sale thread?

Thanks,
Tom
