hello,,great site,,ok best site,,anyway i have a question about buying memberships,,aka being a site supporter,,if i want a membership for now and want a vendor membership later within the same year do i have to pay the vendor dues or just the difference between a supporter and vendor cost? thomas @ rmdesignworks

oh and one other question,,,whats the deal with taxes as far as selling,,i havent seen anything about charging local taxes or limits on how much you can make before you have to charge or anything similar,,,any word?

nice to meet you john,,,im sure you can understand my concerns and i try my best to find out details before making any moves in anything,,,,i dont want to put anyone at risk or have any problems with other vendors or the law,,,ill do a little research on the matter throught the state of colorado's website,,if i find out anything ill post it here,,,but it will be specific to colorado residents,,,i like being legal,,,even more so when it means continued success,,,im not a do gooder by anymeans but i would like to cover all my bases before going up to bat,,,thanks again and i will definitely be on contact with you or jason in regards to this

most of the larger vendors have set up LLC's and all the good stuff that goes along with it to keep everything legal. as far as taxes as far I know no one adds taxes into their price, in anyway that would affect the final price for the consumer. Here in MT we don't have sales tax so its not an issue, but you may want to talk to an accountant about the local laws on that to be sure. you're going to want to anyway if you choose to setup the LLC and get serious with vending.
