Default giveaways

i have noticed there is a lot of giveaways in the ax10 section and taking alot of room, should they have a section just for this and keep only topics about tech or such there

Nope. Those of us who can participate in them, like seeing them in the appropriate sections....

BTW, this has been discussed MANY times.

And it's always brought up by the people who don't support the site.

Typical.

well if the rules were right the they shouldnt be in the tech section since it has nothing to do with tech and just giving something away. its kind of weird how the rules are bent a little for people giving away stuff. it should really be under classifieds and i am a supporter of the site

There's exceptions to every rule.
If it's such a problem to scroll past it,maybe we (the vendors) should just quit doing them.Oh wait, then you guys would have something else to bitch about.

I'm sure that if you asked Badger nicely, he can make it so that you dont see those pesky giveaway threads...

please dont take my sunshine away.

Vendors, thanks for your freebies. Its very cool of you even though you dont have to do it at all!

Non-star holders, quit your bitching and buy a star or shut up and quit trying to change something you want nothing to do with it anyways!
(It's like a TV/radio station, you hear a song or a program you dont like, skip to the next channel/station.

JMO. I sorta agree about a seperate thread but only because it would make it easier to find the giveaways, but on the same turn of the screw it helps promote that thread its being sponsored in. but like there isnt enough stuff for the Mods to do anyways on the website!

giveaways are good.
$20 in this hobby is chump change. Just make a tiny sacrifice and buy a star instead of whatever in the hell it is that you could spend $20 on. I won a giveaway and what I won would have cost me $30. See, my star has been more than payed for and I also get more PM space and an evil picture next to my name.

i dont mind it but a section just for give aways would bring more people to each one so that they dont have to search through each forum for them and it doesnt bug me just scrolling past them in the forum but also sometimes you lose track of when they end so i know people like myself (if there are any >.>) will forget about them in all.

I just suscribed to them and that way I can go to my user profile and list all the threads that I suscribed to.

As for them being in their own subforum I don't personally think that is necessary.

The give aways are one of the reasons I paid for my star. Thanks vendors

I know, I was being sarcastic because of a thread that is being repeated of something that has been brought up before, of course by another rcc freeloader

Ahh....I see. Sometimes sarcasm is lost on the internet. It's difficult to read intonation...

In linguistics, intonation is variation of pitch while speaking which is not used to distinguish words.
