Default Newbies b/s/t

To all mods, and admins.

Can you please make anyone else who signs up on this site read the b/s/t section rules. I know when you send out the confirmation e-mail you have to re log in, so maybe put it there so they have to read it.

Now that i have just ranted........is someone playing a joke on us???

maybe make them type out "I cannot see the Classified section without 30 days + 30 posts or purchasing a star." as part of their confirmation.

Totally!

It's almost as bad as established members making this suggestion once a week!

Yep. And that's why we'll be discussing this again next week! ;)

Default Possible solution?

I'll weigh in on this as a noob... When I joined up, I saw the rules and found them to be quite clear. Most people won't read as closely as I did. In a forum like this you attract people looking for information on the quick. Generally this is pretty basic info and could easily be found by searching, but that requires effort that many people in our society of entitlement simply won't put forth.

It makes me sad.

That being said, I don't know if it's possible to leave the B/S/T heading open to new users and have only one post available such time as they meet the requirements. That single post would of course detail said requirements.

Thoughts?
