| whats the deal with reloading threads?
on some threads (it seems the ones with lots of pics) I get lots of reloading/ refreshing jumps. I get to the thread, I start reading, and it keeps jumping back to post X to my great annoyance. I scroll some more, and it jumps again and again. Whats the cause, and how can I stop this madness? |

| http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showt...795#post189795 http://bumfights.com/index.cfm?download=1 thats the last place that I was. There are many hosted photos there. I dont like how the screen pops back to the load post every time a photo starts loading. Is there no way to keep my spot on the page if it gets longer from photos? |

Yep just as Badger said, they host the pictures on a slow site. Our server is much faster than that one so our page loads up and you start reading, then slowly these photos start filtering in when the server they are hosted on decides to respond. The only way to stop this from happening is to get people to stop hotlinking to slow servers. |

Im up for learning html again. Most people wouldnt take the time though. Ill just deal with it in the mean time, and I think hitting the stop button did work when I tried. Thanks for the quick replies. |
