| keep you logged in
I was wondering why I have to log in almost every time I want to get on the forum, before we went to the new server I was able to just click on the site in my book marks and I was already logged on, but now when I want to get on the forum I have to enter my screen name and pass word almost every time, I do click the remember me tab every time but the next time I got to get on here I have to enter everything all over again, this isn't a real big issue it is more of a conveiniance issue. I am just curious if this is because of the new server or is it an issue that is to be looked into, or will this be the way from here on out. Thanks Last edited by Stick Crawles; 03-22-2010 at 11:36 AM. |

You must check the "REMEMBER ME" Next to the log in section. I'v never had a problem, just close out the interenet and come back to it and im still logged on.

Check your cookies settings. They might be expiring after every time you leave, so make sure they are set for a longer expiration date.

Could be a few things. Might have to clean your cookies out. If you have the web page saved into your favorites or Bookmarks, you might have to type in www.rccrawler.com and then save it again. I noticed when John updated the forums, I could not see the favicon unless I did this. |

I have the same problem with my laptop and I also click the remeber me box. I am also logged in with my black berry and I have no problems with it and before the update I could be logged in with both laptop and phone and no problems. I'm not bitching just letting others know there are others with the same problem. Thanks again RCC for a kickass website. Ryan |

I regularly dump my net cookies for regular browsing and empty the favorites every other week or so. . Tried that, just re-saved RCC on favorites bar we'll see if it times me out now.

I just cleared my cookies and now it seems to be working better. Must have just been a bad cookie.

I was having the same issue. Last night I cleared out all of my cookies and deleted my browsing history as well. I also went back into Delete Browsing History and reset the features (preserve favorite web sites, temporary internet files, cokies etc.) Logged in again and all is well |

I've been using google chrome and nothing happened between the upgrades, only time i have to re enter stuff is when i use CCleaner which will delete all the cookies, temp files, and everything else that slows down the computer
