| Trojan?
Not sure if this is just me or the site, but my anti virus just went off when I opened RCC.

That's what you get when you try to trade off a Honcho.

It's not RCCrawler... it's one of the ads on the page. Prontexi-AP is an ad infecting virus. http://blog.avast.com/2010/02/18/ads...93-jsprontexi/ |

| Why? RCC acts as my recovery page if someone walks in the break room. Last edited by Rockcrawler; 04-22-2010 at 05:51 PM. |

I just noticed your screen shot, FACEBOOK!!!! I'v had lots of problems with my girlfriend visiting FACEBOOK and the computer crashing and downloading a bunch of stuff..... so i bet your problem is coming from FaceBook for sure. I blocked the webpage from her because i was tired of cleaning the computer 3 times a week. and no problems since! Also FoxFire web browser, I had to delete that from the computere also because of trojans and viruses..... |

Happened to me last week as well while on RCC. I haven't had a problem with FB yet. I'm still trying to clean my other computer as AVG Free didn't catch it.

My work PC got a virus last friday while I was surfing RCC too. This virus is pretty annoying though. It sounds different that the ones that everyone else is talking about. It tells me that my computer has been attacked, it pops up a bunch of windows telling me to stop the attack and when I click them it takes me to a site where I need to purchase the full version of my virus software. The main problem with that is that my real virus software (Trend Micro) isn't the one that is popping up, and in fact it can't even find a virus when I run a scan. I am now running a virus recovery disk but I had to go into bios mode to tell my pc to not run windows because this virus won't let me hardly do anything. |
