picture sizes

When I go to attach a picture the size is set to 800x1200. Which is fine for portraits ... but if I try to upload a landscape size that limits it to 800 wide...

Any chance we can get that changed to just 1200x1200?

thanks!

Anything larger then 800px wide messes with the forums look.

Ahhhhh .... Is the width set? I thought it was fluid.

What about thumb nailing stuff down then allowing something larger? Even 1024 would be better....

Just a thought.

thanks

does RCC auto scale pictures down to the minimum width? If not is there a way to do that?

I never got into the habit of uploading pictures to RCC I could never get them reduced in size and not lose resolution. I wish I had because I have a butt load of pics linked from photobucket. I really don't want to go back and relink them all:shock: also is there a way to make it so you can break up the order they appear in? I remember one of the few times I tried having my pics stored there was no way to have a pic, then caption then another pic..... has that changed?

After you upload you just go to the drop down and place them. Pretty sure it's always been that way.
