Default avatar image scale

How about a subroutine that would automatically resize avatar pics? I'm having a hell of a time getting my pics under 5KB.

You want me to write a program to resize pics because you can't figure out how to reduce the quality of an image?

Not likely.

Some forums have the option. If it was just a matter of enabling something, it'd be nice to have.

The ones that drive me nuts are when they come in at 5,001KB and i've already hacked the quality down to near unviewability.

Much easier now that I'm using Irfanview, but not everyone has it.

And yes, now that I think about it, if it was just a matter of enabling something you probably would have done it by now
