Posting pics, avatar help
 

The posting pics sticky says "600-700 pixels in either direction", Is there a 'standard' size that you guys have found works pretty well?



I've been trying to resize a picture from here on my computer (for use as an avatar), and got it down to 75x100 pixels, but it's still up around 15+kb, any tips on how to get it down to the allowed 4.9kb?
(I'm using Micrsoft Office Picture Editor)

If its animated, you wont be able to use it because your a greenstar.
I use photobucket and then edit the picture.

Nope, not animated, just a pic. But I'll look and see if PB will help at all, thanks.
