Post approval? I have been a member since February... I mostly post in the Texas forum. I dont care about my post count, or the classified section of the forum. I am just curious why I have to have my posts approved before they show up... The reason I ask, I posted in a thread, didnt notice it had to be approved, then posted again, in the same thread, then noticed I needed approval. So, what is that about? I search, couldnt find an answer. Sorry if this is a repeat question. Thanks for your time. *Edit* This time I didnt have to wait for a mod. to approve my post... |

Nope, I didn't post a link. I believe I have before, though. Never needed post approval before. It's not really a big deal. I was just curious about it. Thank for the reply losikid. |

Usually its because of links/pictures/etc...also new threads from newbs are looked at to make sure the question isn't uber newbish. Just from what i've read before with other people who ask this question |
the first handful of posts have to be approved to prevent SPAM and post whoring, not that your doing either but sometimes Bots get through the system and you used to see 25 posts linking to porn sites or buy my product sites"thumbsup" |

The only reason I brought it up... I posted once, noticed it didnt post, so, I thought, maybe I hit cancel, and posted again. Then I noticed it did the whole "You post has to be approved thing"... Anywho... Thanks to both of you guys for the replies. |
