I use Avast and it must be better than what you guys are running, it has blocked the virus on here a few times. My computer has not been infected.

I got hit twice here in the last two days. The admins really need to look into a server based protection. These are either .jpg based or drive-by scripts someone is posting.

I have seen that a few times lately too. I am also running Kaspersky on my laptop but with Firefox 8. No problems so far though.

Got hit two more times since my last post, luckily my current anti-virus is at least detecting and quarantining it before it has become completely debilitating (still lose my ability to run any and all .exe files, including my anti-virus). Scrolled to the bottom of the screen to see which advertising banner is bringing this in, and not surprisingly...... big white box. And I'm pretty well convinced it is an ad banner, since as many times as I've gotten hit, it's never happened in the same section, the same thread, nor the same people/photos posted. This morning's hit was in a thread with only one post, no responses, and no pictures.

This is becoming an incredibly expensive site to visit.

Guys...as a tip, stop using Internet Explorer or Firefox. Google Chrome is less susceptible to these attacks. It's all I've used for some time and have not even received a single warning or infection.

I believe it might have to do with being a flash script in the Google Ads...and Google Chrome unlike Explorer or FireFox builds in Flash and constantly updates it to help prevent scripting exploits.

Thanks for the tip , cause I have run into the problem at least 4 times. Trying to reboot and clean is giving me headaches. I also think the culprit maybe , photobucket. Cause it seems everytime I upload pics from there to this site , it happens. Going to istall the googgle in a few minutes! Thanks RC Bro!
