Why can't I find my XR10 for sale ad when I search the for sale forum? http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/sale/...ml#post3618646 |

I just searched the word "remember" and it was the second one on the search list. First unique word I saw in the thread.

Does it show up when you search for XR10 or xr10 ? That was what I was basing my search upon... I just edited the body to include XR10, previously it was just in the title... |

i'm not really asking for free bumps but thank you for your help. Either way, when I search xr10 I only get 6 results and none of them are my ad... |

OK cool, as long as others are able to see it when they search I guess that's all that matters. Thanks again

What's the key to getting the search to work right? I search for stuff I know I've seen and get nothing. For instance, I know I've seen a thread on stretching 1.5's onto 1.9 rims. I searched for "stretching 1.5" and no matches. I searched "1.5 on 1.9" and no matches. I searched "stretching" and no matches. WTF?? How does the search actually seach? On the body of the thread and title? I know you can select title or post but it still comes up with nothing.

It's clear the search is messed up then if you are having problems too.

Well I searched for that exact thread and it came back with no matches. How are you expecting people to search for things when the search feature doesn't work? I can't find a thread even when I know the exact name of the thread. Ya, that makes sense. |

I just searched for XR10, and yours was 11th on the list. Not sure why it's not showing for you.

I rebuilt the search index late last night. Please try your searches again and let me know.

It shows up with a lot more for me. I used an advanced search, typed in only "XR10" (no quotes) and here is what shows up: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/searc...archid=4787748 Your ad is halfway down the page... Are you making sure your search is for "entire post" and not just "titles only"?? |

Not sure if this makes a difference or not, but scroll to the bottom of the classifieds page to the Display Options. Make sure "Beginning" is selected from the "From The" drop down menu. |

Still not working for me. Searched 1.55 tires on 1.9 wheels and it says no match.
