Wanted to change a thread title of mine, so I went to my threads, I used to be able to double click beside the thread and I would be able to change it, but now it doesnt work. Did you guys change it? Thank you.

Go to the first post, edit, advanced edit. Change the title.

This is not working either. It changes what the 1st post is titled, but does not change the thread name as it appears.

It works for me Dicky, that is what I do everytime I update a build.....I change the date. Works perfectly.
Make sure you go advanced edit and change thread title NOT post title.

only mods can change how it appears on the forum index.

That seems to be a recent change in settings.

Nope it's always been like that.

Users can change how it appears in the actual thread, only mods can change how it appears everywhere else.

A non-mod will have to back me up but I am 99% sure that was changed a year or so ago.

I think you're right Harley, as I remember people asking me to change their titles, then I said you can do it yourself now, and I haven't been asked to do it in a long time.

I've never been able to change a thread title unless I was immediately after creating the thread.

Although, the other night I did some weird click on one of my fs threads and it looked like it was going to let me edit it. I haven't tried it since...mainly because I didn't know what I did.

Also, you guys are dicks.

I've been able to change how it appears everywere until just now.... why can we not change it like we used to?

Ya, just looked at one of my threads, the change worked on 5/12 for an update but not yesterday. Seems odd....or maybe I'm the odd one here......

I used to be able to change them. Just not anymore. So if it was 'working' when Jason thinks that only Mods could do it, then it was broken then!

Yup used to be able to double click in Forum Index on your thread title and change it from there. ........... cant now.

I'm having the same issue. I want to change my thread title because its starting to another way. Any help?
