Hall of fame/hall of shame

I saw these sections on another forum a long time ago, but it is basically this, if a member does something outstanding, regardless of the coolest build, or most generous donation, whatever, they can have a thread in the hall of fame thanking them/congraduating them.

The hall of shame is where you could post up threads about members who are total d-bags, or post up people who have been banned and why they were banned for the rest of us to make fun of in our replies. With the people we have on this forum, it would be hilarious.

i've seen similar sections on other forums, it does get rather funny. the only problem is the maturity level of people here varies pretty greatly, and to have a section like that everyone has to have a decent sense of humor, not be easily offended, and at least somewhat mature. i could see it causing as many problems as it would good/fun times.

With the hall of shame section, if you kept it to people who have been banned, they wouldn't be able to see it anyway, so that would take care of that I would think.

there's a forum that has a section like a hall of shame but they call it the gauntlet. it's for people who have been banned so that they can come and post only in that section and flaming and ridicule is allowed, but they are allowed to try to redeem themselves. i think it could be done here, but it would be a bit of work to have it come out well.
