Rename "Video area"

The video area needs to be renamed "crawler videos". I don't think most guys who post scaler stuff in there even know whats written below the current title. IMO its misleading....... Simple name change would change threads needing moved...

I try to help keep the area clean...

If you look at the amount of post's most who put them in there they are typicly low. All you see it "videos" regardless of whats below it and the fact its near the top of the page.

Edit--how many crawler threads are posted in the Scaler videos" area?

Its pretty obvious folks are not reading it. With smart phones I am willing to bet most folks just quickly scan over what they see--and thats where the problem occurs.

Simple add of a word will help....

Talked over it at one point. It's in the crawler section. People can consider their video scale if they want but it's still crawling. They all fit there, it's not really a big deal. It would be a bigger pain to have to worry about keeping scale videos out all the time. When we talked about we agreed that just adding a word like that will likely change nothing since this is rcCRAWLER everyone assumes every vehicle on here is a crawler and thus fitting in that category.

Anything on rocks is a crawler. If people want to shoot in a more scale manner then so be it.

I've said it before, there needs to be a "Media Forum"... propper place for videos and photos to be posted. Have sub-forums, "scale videos", "comp videos", "photos"...

It'll never happen but it'd be nice. Too many assholes on this site.

I don't agree but thats your opinion. I am just here to support what I love (comp crawlers) and continue to feed the forum with such. If thats the case how about a comp crawler area for video's then? I have proven that supporting something with video only helps support/grow the sport..

This. If its trying to climb on rocks it's a crawler (or doing its best impersonation of it). Scalers are crawlers, they belong in the section as well. As far as adding another section, I've got others I'd like to see added before that, but it's not my call. I'd like to see a multiple axle section as well as a couple others.

Then why not an area for us comp crawler guys? There is a number of us who do them not only comp's directly but comp crawlers...

I agree that the scale video's and crawler video's should be seperate. Crawlers and scalers are seperated throughout the entire forum, so why not seperate the vid's as well? It would make it alot nicer for the crawler guys to look at what they want, instead of alot of what they don't. I also don't agree that scalers are crawlers just because they have four wheels and drive on rock, they are built to differant specs just so they can be called scale trucks. But a crawler with TVP chassis cannont be called a scaler.
