Default Help with linking

I want to know how to link without posting the "link" and just a simple word or two. Like "Here's my truck " and have the word truck be the link instead of rccrawler.com/forum/threadblahblahblah you get the idea. Can you guys help? I was gonna search, but I don't even know what it's called.

there is a link box up above the reply box that looks like this

Use it and it will look like This..

BUT.. after you click ok to insert the link, you will see a section Highlighted. change it to whatever you want it to say

Let's try Ebay Thanks TC. I figured out if you just select the word, like you were going to copy it, then hit the link button, it does it too.

USER/CP, edit options....

Scroll down and make sure you have a check marks next to all 3 boxes under Thread display options, Visible Post elements....

Also, at the bottom, be sure to have it set to standard editor and not basic

You can just type it all out too. Look like this:

[url=www.rccrawler.com]Best site ever[/-url]

But remove the - at the end.

Best site ever
