| Help with advanced search
Example. I'm in For Sale forum and select 'search this forum' then 'advanced search'. My keyword preset is 'title only' If I enter 'Losi Crawler', it gives me Losi OR Crawler, and I get too many non relevant hits. If I enter 'Losi AND Crawler', it still gives me Losi OR Crawler and same results. Is there a way to implement the AND command in the advanced title-only search? (This means only posts with both Losi and Crawler in the title.) |

Use quotes around Losi crawler? I got four hits that way, not 12 pages.

| Re: Help with advanced search I'll check that out. But even if it works as advertised, it's not up to par with an AND command. For example SEARCH "Losi Crawler" would not give hits on Losi Night Crawler and Losi Comp Crawler. Still...you could search each combination of words separately. Thanks.

I like the Google custom search, that was incorporated some time ago, better. EDIT* Scratch that...it doesn't seem to work in specific sections. Only as a broad search of the entire site. |
