why no sig pics

Why cant siggys have images, of like Holmes Hobbies for example? I made one to put it my sig for a hyperlink but remembered RCC doesnt do that! :x

TwistedCreations 08-31-2006 07:51 PM

because people will get carried away with it and we(mods) will have to crack heads and spend countless hours going through and deleting peoples sig lines because they are 5 pages long

TLTCrawlin 08-31-2006 07:54 PM

well how about star members if possible?

Go look at scale4x4rc.net, they allow everything under the sun and IMO it looks like sh!t. It clutters up the threads and makes the whole site way to busy, enough to give me a headache.

I love how clean and easy to read RCC is.

-just stupid looking
-waste of bandwidth
-pages load slower
-pita to moderate
-etc etc etc

EeePee 08-31-2006 08:41 PM

Let's get rid of the big green letters while we're at it!

TLTCrawlin 08-31-2006 09:47 PM

x20,000,000,000,000 This is a great and easy to follow site, I modded on a Paintball site for awhile until things got outa hand and the sigs took up twice the space of the actual thread..........LAME!

This is a 400x100 pixel image. It's not going to happen.

Noone's askin' me, but this site is fukin' hard to read as it is... don't know how bad it is now since I turned of signatures, but I turned 'em off because they seemed to be completely pointless and getting outta control. I think my favorite is still the retarded "92% of teens listen to rap...blah, blah, blah"

Comming from a guy with a signature as large as most everyone else.

BIGGER than most

K_B 09-01-2006 03:05 PM

oooops...

I hate forum sites that allow pics in sigs. When ever someone posts a link to a car forum, and there are pics in the sigs I cant tell what pics are in posts and what pics are inthe sigs. I'm glad that RCC doesn't allow pics in sigs.

murdock 09-01-2006 10:18 PM

thats why i dont go to scale4x4 that often its really hard to read between every other sig

That's funny. I was thinking the same thing.

I think avatars are enough - at least those are off to the side. Sig pics kinda of break up the flow when you are reading an entire thread.
