Is it okay to post a for sale offer for a friend and have buyers pm me to get his email so they can work it out between themselves?

Or what's the closest I can get to that without pissin people off?

Anytime I have sold rc's for a friend not on the site, I ALWAYS have the rc in my possession and I personally test it and go thru it. Paypal goes to me and behind the scenes I pay them whatever it sold for.

Nothing at all wrong with how you do it. But I'm wondering if there are actual rules on the subject. Seems like the kind of thing that might be regulated, but I didn't find anything in the sticky.

klabeaume's way is probably the best/easiest way to go about it... afterall its your feedback on the line should the deal go south, not your friend's.

Who is to know if anything anyone sells here is actually theirs or someone else's. We have no actual control over that.

However, if the other person is a member of RCCrawler and just doesn't have access to the classifieds because of being a new member or having been banned from the classifieds... then NO, it shouldn't happen.

As previously brought up... It is YOUR feedback and YOUR pay-pal account at risk.
