Default How to kill the irritating crapatalk popup?

In the last 5 minutes I have gotten at least 6 crapatalk popups trying to get me to download that highly annoying piece of garbage. I have an iPad, it has a huge screen, I don't need crapatalk or any other forum reader. Is there a way to turn the bloody thing off? Why apple hasn't given us an option to nuke those popups is beyond me.

I use an iPad to browse quite often and rarely if ever get that pop-up. Not sure what the issue is with yours. I'll see if I can figure anything out.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Sometimes it doesn't appear at all, sometimes it's every time I click anything. Once it even did it on my desktop (not RCC.com, though).

I never got the popup on my old htc stock browser but once I switched to aurora I started getting it every time I switched sections. I just picked up a note 2 and I'm getting it when I first come back to the forum and refresh and again the first time I switch sections.

I like tapatalk myself. Works great on the go. I do not use it when I am on wifi, but it makes adding pictures from my phone super easy. Well worth the couple $ it costs.

On the iPad, have u tried turning off the notifications for tapatalk?
Settings/ notifications/ tapatalk

I prefer forum runner over tapatalk, but it seems tapatalk is faster about notifying me about new messages

I don't have it installed, so there's nothing to turn off, unfortunately.
