comp and scale video section

If all the scale guys are just going to post their videos under the general video section and not use the scale video section then why not remove the scale video section altogether and give us comp guys a video section? Let the scalers keep using the general video section and then you wont have to keep moving videos daily.

Why is there no moderator for the video sections?

I have tried and even spent lots of my own time going over the videos and using the report post feature to no avail...

I have even offered my time to mod the area..

I didn't even get a response from my pm to harley..

So who does take care of the reported posts?

Apparently no one, so I guess we are wasting our time suggesting to make something easier/better for the moderator that doesn't exist.

Nice to have someone paying attention again. I would like to see the scale video section go away since the general video section is where everyone posts the scale videos and make a new comp crawler video section.

Yup, a separate section for crawler only vids. Maybe even three sections...crawler only, scale only and one for all the other stuff like unboxing or personal opinions/reviews on whatever.

Like I've said before, the videos section is much like the general crawlers section. It can have almost anything in it. It can have a video about building a wheel, a tuber, actual crawling footage, etc. The section will not be renamed.

Then how about an actual crawling section? The scalers have there own area.

Sorry I don't reply to all PM's, it would take me forever and I'm already 30+ backlogged right now. We've discussed the video section before, for the level of activity in there currently with all of it combined I don't see a need to further section it off. I don't see any problems with the way the section is functioning today. We could create an endless number of sections for all kinds of things on the site, but until traffic demands it in order to making viewing and navigating the site easier I don't think it is warranted. Too many sections makes things less efficient, just as not enough can.

As long as the general videos don't get out of control with scale videos that should have been posted in the scale video section then that's fine, just make sure someone is doing their job moderating those areas. I have noticed an improvement lately, just keep it up and all will be good until the comp crawler guys are recognized again and we get our own section for videos.
