Default still no lighting forum?

I don't get it. sure it would fall under electronics, but thats a huge range, and virtually all esc and motor threads.

I agree, a lighting or "non-essential electrical" (lighting, winches, etc) would be great

Everyone has done great with posting those type threads in the Electronics sub-forum. There just isn't enough demand or threads started on the subject to start a "Lighting" sub-forum.

There are only a few light bars out there right now:
MORE
Maddog
RC4WD
Vanquish Products

Light bars or LEDs are pretty self explanatory when you have it right in front of you and know what positive and negative wires are. It's even easier to hook up when you have a product from HeyOk.

There are only a handful of winches as well:
Integy
TopCad
3Racing
QuickSand
RC4WD
HEYOK Servo winch

Search around. Many of more experienced members have used just about every type of winch or lightbar on their competition RC.

Please no, its happy in the electronics section.
I've used the search to pick up pages full of lighting specific and wiring how to threads. If its currently esc threads, that just means its currently more popular
Of a problem, and with the recent influx of RTR, and new to crawling peeps, I'm sure that's part of the reason.

Search led, light wiring, resistors, and you'll get a good hit.

I disagree. There could be alot involved in light systems.

Like?

-Which wire is the positive wire?
-How do you hook it up?
-How bright are they?
-Let's see how you attached it to your cage!
-Which one should I get?

Very useful information...

I guess you could get into real depth with it and talk about resistors, led lumens, etc. But all of that talk would go back into the Electronics sub-forum because it is a more broad subject.
